Song Lyrics

By: Francie & Pat Kelley

Serengeti savanna
Zebras run to the water’s edge
Then they vanish like a shooting star
And I want to ride
Under African skies.

(Chorus)
He say, he say
Where do you want to go today
I want to ride, ride, ride under
African skies.

Lake Nakuru flamingos
Mazima Springs hippos rise and sing
Twilight comes I hear the lion roar
And I want to ride
Under African skies.

(Chorus)

Somewhere the sky
Touches the earth
A magical place
When I close my eyes I am there.

(Chorus)

I’m gonna uku ukulele with my baby
Rollin’ ‘cross the sea of blue
We’re going where the trade winds blow
Where I’ll uku ukulele with you.

The palm trees sway and the little girl swings
in her hula hula hula way
Lets walk hand in hand
wiggle toes in the sand
and have an uku ukulele day.

(Chorus)
Uku ukulele with my baby
In our uku ukulele way
Uku ukulele with my baby
The uku ukulele way.

The humuhumunukunukuapua’a
Are swimmin’ round the clear blue bay
If they could talk, I’d bet they’d say
Its an uku ukulele day.

(Chorus)

The sun is low and the turtles play
in their uku ukulele way
Mahalo and Aloha
Its been an uku ukulele day.

(Chorus)

Mahalo and Aloha
Its been an uku ukulele day.

By: Pat Alger & Ralph Murphy

Sometimes I stop on my way home to watch the children play
And I wonder if they wonder what they’ll be someday
Some will dream a great big dream and make it all come true
while others go on dreaming of things they’ll never do.

(Chorus)
We’re all just seeds, in God’s hands
We start the same
But where we land
is sometimes fertile soil and sometimes sand
We’re all just seeds in God’s hands.

I saw a friend the other day I hardly recognized
He’d done a lot of livin’ since I last looked in his eyes
And he told a tale of how he’d failed and the lessons he’d been taught
But he offered no excuses, and he left me with this thought

(Chorus)

And as I’m standing at the crossroads once again
I’m reminded we’re all the same when we begin
And in the end…

(Chorus)

Jamaica man play steel drum
Another world at the farmer’s market
Some people don’t even notice him
He takes me to Jamaica, make it come true.

(Chorus)
Jamaica you make my day
Jamaica I’m on my way
I want to go to Jamaica
Jamaica I’m on my way.

I want to see Jamaica
Heard they always have beautiful weather
The water’s warm and the sky is blue
I can hear the steel drum, make it come true.

(Chorus)

I want to see Jamaica
I hear it’s nice all through the winter
And when I dream of far away
I hear him play the steel drum, make it come true.

(Chorus)

I wanna go
I wanna go
Oh Jamaica
I wanna go
I wanna go
Oh Jamaica

Make it come true
Make it come true
Oh Jamaica
Make it come true
Make it come true
Oh Jamaica

Has anybody seen my kitty?
Has anybody seen my cat?
He’s got a bump on the end of his tail
To show that he’s been fighting
Down in Finnegan’s valley
Up in Mulligan’s Flat,
Kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty,
Has anybody seen my cat?

Has anybody seen my puppy
Has anybody seen my dog?
He’s kinda short and round in the middle
To show that he’s been eating
Up on Holler Mountain
Down on Shaelan’s Bog
Puppy, puppy, puppy, puppy
Has anybody seen my dog?

Now that I’ve lost my kitty
And now that I’ve lost my dog
I think I’ll get a new pet
I’ll get a pollywog
He won’t need a collar
And he won’t need a leash
Polly, wolly, wolly, wolly
Has anybody seen my………frog?!

Night time is falling
Sandman is calling
Slumber is waiting for you

Birds are ‘a wingin’
Songs they are singin’
Dreamland is here for you, too.

I see the moon
Does the moon see me
Through the window of my bedroom
through the leaves of the tall oak tree
I see the moon
Does the moon see me?

I hear a song
does the song hear me
Feel the rhythm of the music
hear the sound of the melody
I hear the song
does the song hear me?

Where do butterflies go when it rains
What makes the snow fall
Who paints the rainbow in the sky
I just want to know why

I feel the wind
does the wind feel me
As I’m running through a meadow
I reach out to touch the breeze
I feel the wind
does the wind feel me?

I see the moon
does the moon see me
Through the window of my bedroom
through the leaves of the tall oak tree
I see the moon
Does the moon see me
Does the song hear
Does the wind feel
Does the moon see me?

I’m a real suburban Mom
I drive a Hybrid SUV
I go to boot camp after car pool
And plan the menus for the week
While my manicure is drying
I design the weekend fun
We pitch a tent in the backyard
Beneath the sun.

We make s’mores in our fine kitchen
Over our nice new Viking range
The kids put on their jammies
As the daylight starts to change
And then we see it crawling
Leap into action, golly wow
Stand back and watch
Your Rambo Mommy now.

Tarantula, Tarantula
Suburban warfare with a brick
Tarantula, Tarantula
Kung Foo mother with a kick
Kids get out the Hoover,
A broom is far too tame
Look out while I take aim

I leap into the air
Armed with Tupperware
The Quisinart and All Clad may do just the trick, non-stick
What a tangled web we weave
This hairy beast and I
A classic misfortune of uncalculated risk
I’m coming with my whisk

Tarantula, Tarantula
I’ll get him with my blowtorch
Tarantula, Tarantula
Won’t singe nor even scorch
The fence has caught on fire,
The house burned to the ground
And Tarantula keeps crawling ‘round!

Tarantula, Tarantula
Hear the siren down the road
Tarantula, Tarantula
Please not in my zip code
Police are coming for me,
No time to re-load
I think I will explode!

NOTE: Only the chorus is used in this recording

(Chorus)
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me

As I was walking a ribbon of highway
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley
This land was made for you and me

(Chorus)

I’ve roamed and rambled and I’ve followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me

(Chorus)

The sun comes shining as I was strolling
The wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
The fog was lifting a voice come chanting
This land was made for you and me

(Chorus)

(Chorus)
When it comes down to the heart of the matter
When it comes down to the spirit in your soul
When it comes down to the heart of the matter
Giving makes the living feel so whole

A mother sings a quiet song
The child takes her hand
Their house is warm and cozy
But its cold throughout the land

A tiny spark ignites the flame
Of love that burns so bright
The gift of hope within us
Will shine the way tonight

(Chorus)

We look outside our window
To see we’re not alone
A stranger reaches out a hand
With no where to call home

A gift of love unites us
And warms our hearts tonight
A universal wisdom
Will teach us what is right

(Chorus)

By: Francie Kelley

I will give my love to you
And one day watch you fly away
You’ll have wings of your own
May they bring you safely home.

You’ll have wings of your own,
May they bring you safely home.
